S1B and S2 (A and E). Excision sites were inguinal, except cervical for HIV13 and axillary for HIV2, HIV6, HIV10 and two of the HIV⁻ group. Numbers in the last two rows are medians (range) or geometric mean (HIV RNA); bold indicates significant difference between the two groups. N/A, not applicable or not available.
