    To the Editor, The study by Sampson et al.(1) brings very interesting data about the potential use of PTH to treat cartilage disorders. As the authors state, the results could be considered a proof of concept that systemic administration of PTH can reach chondrocytes within an avascular environment (the cartilage) and produce a therapeutic effect.
