Come Together

A meeting was held in Bethesda, Maryland, in February 2010 to discuss ways to promote effective collaborations among academia, government, and industry in the field of translational medicine. One session, summarized in this meeting report, focused on uniting myriad stakeholders with the goal of developing a path for promoting effective partnerships among various diverse institutions. A theme of the session was to determine how CTSA institutions, acting as a Consortium, can foster public-private partnerships to promote research translation.
