Developing Diagnostic Assays

A meeting was held in Bethesda, Maryland, in February 2010 to discuss ways to promote effective collaborations among academia, government, and industry in the field of translational medicine. One session, summarized in this meeting report, was organized to explore the issues and barriers associated with the development and commercialization of diagnostic tests.
