ONLINE COVER Neutrophils Swim Against the Tide. Zebrafish (shown) have proven similar to mammalian models and humans in toxicity testing and can be used in a semiautomated way for high-content drug discovery. Robertson et al. used the zebrafish model of inflammation resolution to identify a proresolving compound tanshinone IIA, which is derived from a Chinese medicinal herb. This compound accelerates inflammation resolution in both zebrafish and human systems by accelerating reverse migration and apoptosis in neutrophils. [CREDIT: MARK SMITH/SCIENCE SOURCE]
